Treat your ingredients with care...
- Beef — Use tender cuts of beef for the best results. You can cook the beef by boiling, roasting, or pressure cooking until it is easily shreddable.
- Naga spices — Adjust the amount of chili powder and green chilies according to your spice preference. Naga cuisine is known for its spiciness, so feel free to add more heat if desired.
Tips & Tricks
- To make the croquettes extra crispy, you can double coat them in breadcrumbs.
- Serve the Naga-style Beef Croquettes with a cooling yogurt-based dip to balance out the spiciness.
- If you prefer a milder version, reduce the amount of chili powder and green chilies.
- Make a larger batch of croquettes and freeze them for later use. Just thaw and fry whenever you crave a spicy snack.
- Experiment with different fillings such as chicken or vegetables to cater to different dietary preferences.
