Ingredients
While the original Shamu datshi is a cheese and chili-based dish from Bhutan, this adaptation transforms it into a spiced fish stew inspired by the flavors of Yamal cuisine. The original dish's cheese and chili elements are replaced with fish and a blend of Yamal spices, resulting in a completely different taste profile. The use of fish adds a delicate and light flavor to the stew, while the Yamal spices bring a unique Arctic twist to the dish. We alse have the original recipe for Shamu datshi, so you can check it out.
