Instead of using traditional Filipino ingredients like tamarind or guava, we use tangerine peel and vinegar to achieve the sour taste. Preparation

1.In a pot, heat some oil over medium heat. Sauté the garlic, onion, and ginger until fragrant.

2.Add the tomato and tangerine peel, and cook for a few minutes until the tomato softens.

3.Pour in the water and vinegar, and bring to a boil.

4.Add the daikon radish and simmer for 5 minutes.

5.Add the long beans and shrimp, and cook until the shrimp turns pink and opaque.

6.Stir in the bok choy and season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.

7.Remove from heat and garnish with fresh cilantro.
