Preparation

1.Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat.

3.Add the minced garlic, grated ginger, and slit green chilies. Sauté for another minute.

4.Add the tomato puree and cook until the oil separates from the mixture.

5.In a small bowl, mix together the cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, chili powder, and salt. Add this spice mixture to the pan and cook for a minute, stirring continuously.
