Ingredients
In this Liaoning-inspired adaptation, we substitute the traditional Uraró ingredients with Liaoning spices and fresh vegetables commonly used in Liaoning cuisine. The cooking technique remains similar, but the flavor profile is enhanced with the unique spices and ingredients of Liaoning cuisine. Preparation

1.Heat the vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat.

2.Add the minced garlic and sliced onion, and sauté until fragrant and the onion becomes translucent.

3.Add the shrimp to the wok and cook until they turn pink and are cooked through. Remove the shrimp from the wok and set aside.

4.In the same wok, add the sliced bell peppers, julienned carrot, and snow peas. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are slightly tender but still crisp.

5.In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, Liaoning chili paste, sugar, salt, and pepper.

6.Return the cooked shrimp to the wok and pour the sauce over the shrimp and vegetables. Stir-fry for an additional 2 minutes until everything is well-coated and heated through.

7.Remove from heat and serve hot.
