Preparation

1.Boil the potatoes in a large pot of salted water until tender. Drain and set aside.

2.In a separate pan, cook the diced bacon until crispy. Remove the bacon from the pan and set aside, leaving the bacon fat in the pan.

3.In the same pan with the bacon fat, add the minced garlic and grated ginger. Sauté until fragrant.

4.Add the cooked potatoes to the pan and mash them with a potato masher until smooth.

5.Stir in the soy sauce, sesame oil, and chili flakes. Mix well to combine.

6.Season with salt to taste.
