In this adaptation of Cancha Salada, we have replaced the traditional corn kernels with plantains, a staple ingredient in Curaçao cuisine. Preparation

1.Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

2.Peel the plantains and slice them into thin rounds, about 1/8 inch thick.

3.In a large bowl, combine the vegetable oil, ground cumin, paprika, chili powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

4.Add the plantain slices to the bowl and toss them gently to coat them evenly with the spice mixture.
