Treat your ingredients with care...
- Flank steak — For tender results, slice the steak against the grain after grilling.
- Collard greens — Remove the tough stems before cooking for a more enjoyable texture.
Tips & Tricks
- For a smokier flavor, grill the tortillas for a few seconds on each side before assembling the tacos.
- If you prefer a milder salsa, remove the seeds from the jalapenos before chopping.
- Add a squeeze of lime juice to the tacos for a refreshing twist.
- Experiment with different barbecue sauce flavors to find your favorite combination.
- If you don't have access to collard greens, substitute with other soul food favorites like black-eyed peas or cornbread.
