Treat your ingredients with care...

  • Ground beef and pork — Make sure to use lean ground meat for a healthier option. If you prefer a juicier texture, you can use a combination of lean and fatty ground meat.
  • Fresh cilantro and parsley — If you're not a fan of cilantro, you can substitute it with fresh basil or mint for a different flavor profile.

Tips & Tricks

  • For an extra burst of flavor, you can marinate the sausages in a mixture of lime juice, garlic, and olive oil for 1-2 hours before grilling.
  • Serve the Ćevapi with traditional Puerto Rican sides like rice and beans, plantains, or a fresh tropical salad.
  • If you don't have a grill, you can also cook the sausages in a skillet over medium heat until they are cooked through.

Serving advice

Serve the Puerto Rican Style Ćevapi hot off the grill, accompanied by a side of rice and beans, and garnished with fresh cilantro. These sausages are perfect for a casual backyard barbecue or a tropical-themed dinner party.

Presentation advice

Arrange the grilled sausages on a platter, garnish with fresh cilantro leaves, and serve with a side of rice and beans. For an extra touch, you can drizzle some homemade chimichurri sauce over the sausages for added flavor and visual appeal.
