Ingredients

In the traditional Chilean Chacarero, the beef is usually grilled and served with a simple pebre sauce. However, in the Minorcan adaptation, the beef is thinly sliced and cooked to ensure tenderness. Additionally, the Minorcan Chacarero incorporates the unique flavors of Minorcan cuisine by adding the zesty and spicy Minorcan sauce, which gives the sandwich a distinct taste. Treat your ingredients with care...

  • Beef sirloin — To ensure tender beef slices, make sure to slice the meat against the grain. This will help break down the muscle fibers and result in a more tender texture.

Tips & Tricks

  • If you prefer a milder spice level, remove the seeds from the peppers before chopping them for the Minorcan sauce.
  • For an extra burst of flavor, lightly brush the toasted rolls with olive oil before assembling the sandwich.
  • Feel free to add other toppings such as avocado slices or pickles to customize your Minorcan Chacarero.

Serving advice
