1.In a saucepan, combine glucose, fructose, and maltodextrin with water over medium heat.

2.Stir until the mixture reaches a temperature of 110°C (230°F).

3.Remove from heat and slowly whisk in the egg yolk powder and vanilla extract.

4.Return the mixture to low heat and continue whisking until it thickens to a syrup-like consistency.

5.Remove from heat and let it cool.

6.Using a syringe or a squeeze bottle, carefully drop the mixture into a cold oil bath to form thin threads.

7.Allow the threads to set in the oil bath for a few minutes.

8.Carefully remove the threads from the oil bath and drain excess oil.
