Ingredients
In this adaptation, the original Mexican Guargüeros is transformed into an Abruzzese-style dish by incorporating traditional ingredients and flavors from the Abruzzese and Molisan cuisine. The original dish's spices are replaced with aromatic herbs commonly used in Abruzzese cooking, such as rosemary and thyme. The beef is slow-cooked to achieve a tender texture, reminiscent of the slow-cooked meats often found in Abruzzese and Molisan dishes. The dish is served with crusty bread, a staple in Italian cuisine, to enhance the dining experience. We alse have the original recipe for Guargüeros, so you can check it out.

Tips & Tricks
- For a richer flavor, you can add a splash of red wine to the dish during the simmering process.
