Ingredients

Preparation

1.Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

2.Roll out the shortcrust pastry and line a tart tin with it. Trim any excess pastry.

3.In a mixing bowl, combine the sweetened condensed milk, ground cardamom, saffron threads, cornflour, evaporated milk, and melted butter. Whisk until well combined.

4.Pour the filling into the prepared pastry shell.

5.Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the filling is set and golden brown.

6.Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely.

7.Once cooled, refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
