Treat your ingredients with care...
- Avocado — Choose ripe avocados that are slightly soft to the touch. To prevent browning, drizzle some lime or lemon juice over the sliced avocados.
- Kiwis — Select kiwis that are firm but slightly yielding when gently squeezed. Peel the kiwis before dicing them for the salsa.
- Mangalorean-style buns — If you can't find Mangalorean-style buns, you can use any soft burger buns as a substitute.
Tips & Tricks
- For an extra kick of heat, add a pinch of red chili powder to the beef patty mixture.
- If you prefer a milder flavor, reduce the amount of cumin and coriander powder in the patty.
- Customize the level of spiciness in the kiwi salsa by adjusting the amount of green chili.
- Add a slice of cheese to the burger for a creamy and melty addition.
- Serve the Mangalorean KiwiBurger with a side of crispy fries or a fresh green salad.
