Preparation

1.In a saucepan, combine the granulated sugar and water over medium heat. Stir until the sugar dissolves completely.

2.Once the sugar has dissolved, remove the saucepan from heat and let it cool for a few minutes.

3.Stir in the Curaçao liqueur into the sugar syrup mixture.

4.Divide the mixture into separate bowls and add a few drops of food coloring to each bowl. Mix well until the desired colors are achieved.

5.Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

6.Using a small spoon or tweezers, drop tiny droplets of the colored sugar syrup onto the parchment paper. Repeat with each color, leaving space between each droplet.

7.Allow the droplets to dry for 24 hours, or until they are completely hardened.
