We have replaced the traditional Indonesian spices with a blend of Silesian spices, and substituted the original protein with smoked sausage, a staple in Silesian cuisine. These changes infuse the dish with the distinct flavors of Silesia while still maintaining the essence of the original Indonesian dish. 1.Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear. In a saucepan, bring the water to a boil and add the rice. Cook until the rice is tender, about 15-20 minutes. Drain any excess water and set aside.

2.Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, and sauté until they become translucent.

3.Add the diced bell peppers and carrots to the skillet and cook for 5 minutes, or until they start to soften.

4.Push the vegetables to one side of the skillet and add the sliced smoked sausage. Cook until the sausage is lightly browned.

5.Sprinkle the Silesian spice blend over the vegetables and sausage, and stir to coat everything evenly.

6.Add the cooked rice to the skillet and mix well, ensuring that the rice is coated with the spices.

7.Stir in the soy sauce and tomato paste, and season with salt to taste. Cook for an additional 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
