Treat your ingredients with care...
- British sausages — Choose high-quality sausages with a good meat-to-fat ratio for the best flavor. You can use pork, beef, or a combination of both.
- Canned chopped tomatoes — Opt for canned tomatoes without added salt or seasonings to have better control over the overall flavor of the stew.
Tips & Tricks
- For a spicier version, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or chili flakes to the stew.
- If you prefer a thicker stew, you can mash some of the cooked potatoes with a fork to create a creamier texture.
- Serve the Obara Stew with a side of steamed vegetables or a fresh green salad for a complete meal.
- Leftovers can be refrigerated and enjoyed the next day, as the flavors tend to develop and intensify over time.
- Feel free to experiment with different types of sausages to add variety to the dish.
