Treat your ingredients with care...
- Beef brisket — For tender and flavorful beef, consider marinating the brisket in a mixture of soy sauce, garlic, and Brazilian spices overnight before slicing and cooking.
- Brazilian spice blend — You can make your own blend by combining equal parts cumin, paprika, oregano, and black pepper. Adjust the proportions to suit your taste preferences.
- Rice noodles — To prevent the noodles from sticking together, rinse them with cold water after cooking and toss them with a little oil.
Tips & Tricks
- For an extra smoky flavor, you can add a small amount of smoked sausage or bacon to the broth.
- Customize your toppings by adding sliced avocado, shredded cabbage, or diced tomatoes.
- If you prefer a spicier Pho, add a few dashes of hot sauce or chili flakes to the broth.
- To save time, you can use pre-cooked black beans instead of cooking them from scratch.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat gently on the stovetop before serving.
Serving advice
