Treat your ingredients with care...
- Prosciutto — Choose a high-quality prosciutto for the best flavor and texture. Make sure to slice it thinly for easy biting.
- Fresh mozzarella — Opt for fresh mozzarella packed in water for a creamy and soft texture. If unavailable, you can use regular mozzarella.
- Olive tapenade — If you prefer a milder flavor, use a black olive tapenade. For a more robust taste, go for a green olive tapenade.
Tips & Tricks
- For an extra kick of flavor, drizzle balsamic glaze or vinegar on the ingredients before assembling the sandwich.
- If you prefer a warm and melty sandwich, you can toast it in a panini press instead of baking it in the oven.
- Customize your sandwich by adding fresh basil leaves or arugula for a peppery bite.
- Experiment with different types of olives in the tapenade to create unique flavor profiles.
- Serve the sandwich with a side of mixed greens dressed in a light vinaigrette for a refreshing accompaniment.
