Preparation

1.In a deep frying pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.

2.In a shallow dish, combine the flour, paprika, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, dried oregano, dried thyme, and cayenne pepper.

3.Dip the chicken pieces into the flour mixture, coating them evenly.

4.Fry the coated chicken in the hot oil until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-6 minutes. Remove from the oil and drain on paper towels.

5.In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, ketchup, sweet pickle relish, yellow mustard, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper to make the sauce.

6.Toast the hamburger buns until lightly golden.

7.Spread the sauce on the bottom half of each bun.

8.Top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, diced onions, sliced pickles, fried chicken, and a slice of American cheese.

9.Cover with the top half of the bun.
