Ingredients
In this Georgian adaptation of Twice Cooked Pork, we incorporate traditional Georgian ingredients and spices to infuse the dish with the flavors of the region. The original Chinese dish typically uses soy sauce, hoisin sauce, and Sichuan peppercorns for its distinct taste. However, in this Georgian version, we replace these ingredients with Georgian spices such as coriander and fenugreek, which lend a unique flavor profile to the dish. Additionally, we incorporate traditional Georgian ingredients like garlic and Georgian red wine vinegar to enhance the taste and authenticity of the recipe.
