Treat your ingredients with care...
- Greek-style sausages — For a smoky flavor, you can grill the sausages instead of roasting them in the oven.
- Greek yogurt — Use full-fat Greek yogurt for a creamy and rich tzatziki sauce.
- Dill — Fresh dill adds a wonderful aroma to the tzatziki sauce. If you don't have fresh dill, you can substitute with dried dill, but use half the amount.
Tips & Tricks
- To make the mashed potatoes extra creamy, add a splash of warm milk or a dollop of butter while mashing.
- For a burst of freshness, squeeze some lemon juice over the sausages before serving.
- If you prefer a spicier kick, sprinkle some chili flakes over the sausages before roasting.
- Serve the dish with a side of Greek salad for a complete Mediterranean meal.
- Leftover sausages and mash can be reheated in the oven or pan-fried for a delicious breakfast the next day.
