  • 4 cups (950ml) vegetable broth
  • 4 slices Canadian bacon, diced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 carrots, diced
  • 2 celery stalks, diced
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 bay leaf
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Preparation
