Ingredients

In this adaptation of Khao niao mamuang to Macedonian cuisine, we have replaced some of the traditional Thai ingredients with Greek counterparts. Instead of using glutinous rice, we use regular short-grain rice commonly found in Greek cuisine. The coconut sauce is infused with vanilla, which adds a Mediterranean twist to the dish. Additionally, we incorporate the use of ripe Greek mangoes, which have a slightly different flavor profile compared to Thai mangoes. We alse have the original recipe for Khao niao mamuang, so you can check it out.
