Ingredients

In this Madrid-style adaptation, we infuse the traditional Chinese noodle stir-fry with the bold and vibrant flavors of Madrid cuisine. We incorporate local ingredients such as chorizo and pimentón (smoked paprika) to add a distinct Spanish twist. The dish also features a spicier sauce, using a combination of chili peppers and Spanish spices to create a fiery kick that complements the noodles and vegetables perfectly. Treat your ingredients with care...

  • Chorizo — Choose a spicy or mild variety based on your preference. If unavailable, you can substitute with Spanish-style cured sausage.
  • Pimentón — Look for smoked paprika in specialty stores or online. If you can't find it, regular paprika can be used as a substitute.

Tips & Tricks

  • For an extra kick of heat, add a few drops of hot sauce or sprinkle with additional chili flakes.
  • Customize the vegetable selection based on seasonal availability and personal preference.
  • To make it vegetarian, replace the chicken and chorizo with tofu or mushrooms for a flavorful alternative.
  • Experiment with different types of noodles such as rice noodles or egg noodles for a variation in texture.
  • If you prefer a milder flavor, reduce the amount of chili flakes or use a mild paprika instead of pimentón.
