1.Drain the soaked gigantes beans and rinse them under cold water.

2.In a large pot, bring water to a boil and add the gigantes beans. Cook until tender, approximately 45-60 minutes. Drain and set aside.

3.In a separate pan, heat vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until golden brown.
