Ingredients
In this Chifa-inspired adaptation of Keemiyaa, we incorporate Chifa cuisine's characteristic flavors and cooking techniques. The original Maldivian Keemiyaa typically consists of stir-fried noodles with vegetables and meat, while the Chifa version adds a unique twist by infusing the dish with Chinese influences. We incorporate Chinese five-spice powder, soy sauce, ginger, garlic, and oyster sauce to create a fusion of flavors that pays homage to both culinary traditions. We alse have the original recipe for Keemiyaa, so you can check it out.
