Ingredients

We replace some of the Greek spices with Lahori spices such as cumin, coriander, and red chili powder to add a fiery kick to the dish. Additionally, we incorporate Lahori cooking techniques and serve the dish with fragrant rice or naan bread, which are staples in Lahori cuisine. 1.Heat the vegetable oil in a large pot over medium heat.

2.Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the pot and sauté until golden brown.

3.Add the meat cubes to the pot and cook until browned on all sides.

4.Sprinkle cumin powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, turmeric powder, and garam masala over the meat. Stir well to coat the meat with the spices.

5.Pour in the tomato puree and water. Season with salt to taste.

6.Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low. Cover the pot and simmer for 1.5 to 2 hours, or until the meat is tender and the flavors have melded together.

7.Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot with fragrant rice or naan bread.
