Ingredients
In this Brazilian adaptation, we infuse the squid with the vibrant flavors of Brazilian cuisine. The original Croatian dish, Lignje ispod peke, is traditionally cooked under a bell-shaped lid, which creates a unique smoky flavor. However, in this Brazilian-style recipe, we adapt the cooking method to grilling, which adds a distinct charred taste and enhances the squid's natural sweetness. Additionally, we incorporate Brazilian spices and lime juice to give the dish a tangy and aromatic twist. We alse have the original recipe for Lignje ispod peke, so you can check it out.
