Preparation

1.In a large bowl, combine the flour, yeast, sugar, and salt. Gradually add the warm water and olive oil. Mix until a dough forms.

2.Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for about 5 minutes, until smooth and elastic. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a clean kitchen towel, and let it rise for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.

3.Preheat the oven to 220°C (425°F).

4.Punch down the dough and divide it into two equal portions. Roll out each portion into a thin circle.

5.Place the rolled dough on a baking sheet or pizza stone. Spread half of the tomato sauce evenly over each pizza base.
