Treat your ingredients with care...

  • Tuna — Use sushi-grade tuna for the best flavor and texture.
  • Salmon — Fresh, high-quality salmon works best for this recipe.
  • Shrimp — Opt for cooked shrimp to save time, or cook them yourself if desired.
  • Avocado — Choose ripe avocados that are slightly soft to the touch.
  • Cucumber — Julienne the cucumber for a crisp and refreshing texture.

Tips & Tricks

  • For an extra kick of flavor, sprinkle some shichimi togarashi (Japanese seven spice) over the tapas before serving.
  • Experiment with different types of fish or seafood to create your own unique combinations.
  • Serve the tapas with a side of pickled ginger and wasabi for an authentic Japanese touch.
  • If you prefer a milder taste, reduce the amount of wasabi paste in the marinade.
  • Don't overcook the seafood to maintain its tender texture.

Serving advice
