Ingredients
While the original Italian Tiramisù is made with ladyfingers, mascarpone cheese, and cocoa powder, our Croatian version adds a unique twist. We substitute the ladyfingers with traditional Croatian biscuits called "paprenjaci," which are spiced with cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg. Additionally, we infuse the mascarpone cream with a touch of Croatian brandy, giving it a subtle boozy flavor. These adaptations add a distinct Croatian flair to this beloved dessert. We alse have the original recipe for Tiramisù, so you can check it out.
