Preparation

1.Place the potatoes in a large pot of salted water and bring to a boil. Cook until tender, approximately 15-20 minutes. Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot.

2.In a small saucepan, heat the milk and butter over low heat until the butter has melted.

3.Pour the milk and butter mixture over the potatoes. Mash the potatoes until smooth and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Set aside.

4.In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onion and minced garlic. Cook until the onion is soft and translucent, approximately 5 minutes.

5.Add the sausages to the skillet and cook until browned on all sides, approximately 10 minutes. Sprinkle the paprika and dried thyme over the sausages and stir to coat evenly.
