Ingredients
In this Lebanese adaptation of Phat si-io, we incorporate Lebanese flavors and ingredients to create a distinct fusion dish. The original Thai dish is typically made with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and Thai basil. In this Lebanese version, we replace soy sauce with pomegranate molasses for a tangy twist, and oyster sauce with a combination of tahini and lemon juice for a creamy and citrusy flavor. We also add Lebanese spices such as sumac and za'atar to enhance the dish's aroma and taste. We alse have the original recipe for Phat si-io, so you can check it out.

Treat your ingredients with care...
- Beef — For tender beef, slice it against the grain. This will help to break down the muscle fibers and result in a more tender texture.
- Rice noodles — To prevent the noodles from sticking together, rinse them with cold water after cooking and toss them with a little oil.
Tips & Tricks
- If you prefer a spicier kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or chili flakes to the dish.
- Feel free to customize the vegetable selection based on your preferences or seasonal availability.

- If you can't find pomegranate molasses, you can substitute it with a mixture of equal parts lemon juice and honey.
