Ingredients
In this Corsican adaptation of Teochew Porridge, we replace the traditional Chinese ingredients with Corsican counterparts. Instead of using plain rice, we use Corsican rice, which has a slightly nutty flavor and a firmer texture. The broth is enriched with Corsican sausages, giving it a smoky and savory taste. Additionally, we incorporate Corsican herbs and olive oil to infuse the dish with Mediterranean aromas and flavors. We alse have the original recipe for Teochew Porridge, so you can check it out.
