Ingredients
While the original Italian Tiramisù is traditionally made with mascarpone cheese, this Latvian adaptation incorporates a local dairy product called skābais krējums, which adds a tangy flavor to the dessert. 1.In a mixing bowl, combine the skābais krējums, cream cheese, sugar, and egg yolks. Mix until smooth and creamy.

2.In a separate bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the beaten egg whites into the cream mixture.

3.Dip each ladyfinger into the cooled coffee, ensuring they are soaked but not overly saturated.

4.Arrange a layer of soaked ladyfingers in the bottom of a rectangular dish.

5.Spread half of the cream mixture over the ladyfingers.

6.Repeat the layers with another layer of soaked ladyfingers and the remaining cream mixture.

7.Sift the cocoa powder over the top layer of cream.

8.Sprinkle the grated dark chocolate on top.
