Treat your ingredients with care...

  • Bok Choy — Make sure to thoroughly wash the bok choy leaves and separate the stalks from the leaves before cooking. The stalks may require slightly longer cooking time than the leaves.
  • Snow Peas — Remove the tough string from the snow peas before cooking. You can do this by snapping off the stem end and pulling it down along the side of the pod.

Tips & Tricks

  • For a spicier kick, add a dash of chili oil or sprinkle some red pepper flakes during the stir-frying process.
  • Feel free to customize the vegetable selection based on your preference and seasonal availability.
  • To enhance the umami flavor, you can add a splash of sesame oil at the end of cooking.
  • For a heartier meal, you can add tofu, seitan, or your choice of protein to the stir-fry.
  • Experiment with different combinations of vegetables to create your own unique Hong Kong-style stir-fried vegetable dish.
