Ingredients
While the original Greek Gyros is typically made with lamb or pork, this Russian-style Gyros recipe uses beef as the main protein. Additionally, the traditional Greek pita bread is replaced with Russian flatbread, known as lavash. The tzatziki sauce is also given a Russian twist by incorporating dill and sour cream. Preparation

1.In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onion and minced garlic, and sauté until golden brown.

2.Add the sliced beef to the skillet and cook until browned. Season with paprika, cumin, dried dill, salt, and pepper. Cook for an additional 5 minutes, until the beef is cooked through.

4.Warm the lavash bread sheets in a dry skillet or oven.
